Subject: Arouse Your Faculties

Hello all, this week was great! Elder McGirt and I got to go down to
Salt Lake City for the Sunday afternoon session of conference. We
brought the Silvernails. Conference was really great of course,
getting to hear from the prophet and apostles.
On Thursday we went on exchanges. I went with Elder Schroeder to his
area, the Layton East and Northridge stakes. It was fun, Elder
Schroeder is a cool guy.
We were unfortunately not able to meet with John this week. Every time
we schedule a lesson, something comes up that he’s not able to make
it. That happened twice this week.
We are still working hard. Xander will be getting baptized this
Friday. He is a great kid.

experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even
if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you,
even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion
of my words.

Alma 37
37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee
for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord,
that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the
morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these
things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
