John was baptized! The elders are working with two families. A recent convert has been called to serve a mission!

Subject: O Lord, I Will Praise Thee

Hello everyone!

This week was really good. Elder Johnson and I are working hard to bring the love of Christ and his support to the people here in Roy. We are working with some families right now, the Quintana’s and Wrestlers, who we hope we can help progress, they are wonderful.

In other news, John was baptized out in Layton, I was able to make it. It was wonderful! Also Elizabeth, who got baptized back in January, got here mission call to the Salt Lake City West mission, and will be teaching in American Sign Language! It’s so awesome to see someone you worked with to continue to progress closer to Christ and have them take bigs step of their own. She leaves in February.

From my studies in the Book of Mormon and New Testament this week:
2 Nephi 22
1 And in that day thou shalt say: O Lord, I will praise thee; though thou wast angry with me thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.

Ephesians 2
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Galatians 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

There is just so much good, stuff, so there are a few of the scriptures I really liked.
