Subject: With His Stripes We Are Healed
Howdy everyone! This past week has been great! I’m still in Kay’s Creek, but I got a new companion! Elder McGirt is from Germanton, North Carolina and has been out 10 months. He is wonderful, and a hard worker.
We met with Xander this week, who is super solid to get baptized on the 8th of April. We also had a great lesson with the Silvernails, who are returning to activity. They expressed that they want to go to the temple, which we are working towards. We will also be taking them to general conference next month!Mosiah 14 / Isaiah 53
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.I absolutely love Christ for what he has done for me. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for him. I know he can help anyone. He can Lift you from a bad or a good place to an even better one.
Have a great week,
Elder Hall
