Subject: I Am the Lord That Doth Sanctify You

Hello everyone,

This week was good. We were able to teach more! Elder Alberts and I
are still working with Justin, Grace & Porter, George, and a bunch of
others. We didn’t find any new investigators this week but we picked
up some good potentials.

This week was Stake Conference in Clearfield. It was awesome, we got
to hear from awesome speakers, including Bishop Waddell of the
presiding Bishopric. They talked a lot about repenting, always
improving, and also The Sabbath Day, and the Holy Ghost.

I really love the Sabbath. It’s an opportunity for us to remember the
Lord and to show our love for him. We can do things, like partaking of
the sacrament, and maybe not do somethings that we do the rest of the
week.

Exodus 31
13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my
sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout
your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth
sanctify you.

Isaiah 58
13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy
pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of
the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways,
nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee
to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the
heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken
it.

9 And that thou mayest more fully keep thyself unspotted from the
world, thou shalt go to the house of prayer and offer up thy
sacraments upon my holy day;

10 For verily this is a day appointed unto you to rest from your
labors, and to pay thy devotions unto the Most High;

I hope we all can remember the Sabbath and the Lord.
